Work is going ok with my lamp design. The basic idea is a lamp without a stable base - which must lean against something to function.

Had quite alot of trouble finding people who can bend the pipe for me (can only bend up to 22mm at uni), finding suitable materials for the shade and friction sleeves, and finding a lighting solution, but that's what it's all about i suppose.....

My fellow classmates and I will be exhibiting our lighting designs at the Design and Architecture centre in Oslo from the 13/5/2011.

The exhibition consists of various lighting objects, developed by a number of different materials. The solutions challenge the traditional lighting products, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
